About Us
Acadiana Master Naturalists
The mission of Acadiana Master Naturalists is to inspire understanding, respect, and lifelong learning, utilizing the latest in scientific data and observations from expert presenters. We focus on the natural history and ecology of the Acadiana area, and strive to expand the number of trained volunteers working to educate the public about the importance of protecting our local native habitats.
Acadiana Master Naturalists was founded in 2014 by a group of people dedicated to expanding Master Naturalist programming to our area. We are a chapter of the Louisiana Master Naturalist Association, and are a 501c(3) nonprofit. Want to donate? You can do that HERE!
